Slippery Sidewalks. Please use caution.

Please be aware of slippery sidewalks throughout the Forest Park Neighborhood.

Areas of concern include:

All new sections of sidewalk throughout the neighborhood. These sections look dry, but they are not. The overspray coating used to harden the cement tends to be slippery when it is wet or icy until it wears through a season.

Sidewalk on S. Filmore way at Jamison Ave Melting ice, snow and slush consistently freeze solid every night on the shady part of the sidewalk. Please utilize the sunny side of the street to avoid risking slipping on the ice.
